Association of International Collective Management Of Audiovisual Works (AGICOA) is a nonprofit organization, aiming at collecting and distributing royalties for international secondary rights of the producers of audiovisual works and it functions in an efficient, professional and transparent manner. Association’s primary activities are related mainly to collective rights management such as negotiating license agreements, examining all legal matters, following the use of Works and collecting payments on behalf of the rightsholders. Since 2000, AGICOA succeeded in collecting and distributing more than half million Euros in total as royalties for more than one million audio visual works.
By registering to AGICOA, associations of producers of audiovisual works joins an international organization, which consists of more than 20.000 rightsholders, and become a part of an international network of professional partners with other 20.000 rightsholders all around the world; therefore benefit from their experience in negotiating rights in international terms, obtaining licenses and collecting&distributing royalties. International activities are conducted through the collaboration with AGICOA Alliance, to which professional associations are dependent to, and it gives rightsholders the chance to exist in local industries and state their opinions through the professional associations that are the members of AGICOA.
