SE-YAP, as a non-profit organization, carries out activities aimed at increasing public recognition and advancing the profession of film producing, and supports a sustainable future for all stakeholders in the cinema industry.
New Turkish Films, a sub-program of the Festivals in Istanbul project, aims to share the narratives of Turkish cinema in all their diversity, originality, and vibrancy through leading film festivals and programs around the world, reflecting our fundamental commitment to promoting and expanding cinematic talent in its various forms. The New Turkish Films program supports both established and emerging directors and producers by providing information and guidance to facilitate Turkish filmmakers’ access to international events, showcases, and opportunities.
Wednesday Meetings
Since 2011, our Wednesday Meetings — organized to inform independent producers about developments in the film industry and to enhance sectoral communication through gatherings with expert guests — have continued, and they are ongoing this year as well.
